World Rhythm Rudiments exists to aid the major in passing their upper divisional exam.  Students will be diagnosed by the instructor to determine whether or not they can pass out of this requirement.  If they do not pass out of the requirement, they will successfully complete the requirement through this course.

2

Pianists must add four credits of voice or secondary instrument determined by the emphasis (voice for choral emphasis, non-keyboard instrument for instrumental emphasis) desired.

3

Piano techniques courses exist to aid the major in passing their piano proficiency exam.  Students will be diagnosed by the piano to determine the appropriate level of entrance into techniques courses.  However, successful completion of piano techniques 4 still requires successful completion of the piano proficiency exam.
