The cultural competence certificate offers students a chance to show future employers that they have the intercultural skills necessary to thrive in a multicultural workforce. Recent studies have found that cultural fluency is one of the top desired career competencies by employers. Students enrolled in this certificate will gain key skills in relating with people across diverse cultures and backgrounds. Students will reflect on how race, class, gender, and sexuality structure and influence peoples’ experiences of the world.
