Description of request

Uncouple the History major from the Education subplan

Rationale

Students interested in teaching History in grades 4-12 should complete the Social Science Comprehensive Major with a History Emphasis in order to be recommended for a Wisconsin teacher license. Students may choose to complete a minor or second major in History additionally.
